For approximately three years I have been making Quilts For Veterans, while also continuing to be an artist, knitter, weaver, carver, crocheter, spinner, etc. My Etsy shop Cape Cod Knit is a venue for my knitting, crocheting, cross stitch and weaving patterns. I am continuing to honor our American Veterans by knitting socks for them.
I have written many sock patterns myself, but for the Veterans, I have adapted a vintage pattern. The ease of knitting these is one aspect, but the fact that this particular pattern can fit "anyone" is really why I am using this pattern. The original pattern was a Columbia-Minerva pattern, published in the 1960s.
